A good-sized, pear shaped tiger's eye measuring 13 x 18 mm, is set horizontally on the finger. It is held in an 18k gold bezel on a wide sterling silver band. A chatoyant stone in the usual rich shades of golden yellow and brown, this stone changes color towards the point into a subtle green-blue.

***Tiger's eye has long been considered a protective stone by many cultures and is often carried as a protective amulet. It is also thought to bring mental clarity to the wearer and help release fear and anxiety. The largest deposit of tiger's eye is found in South Africa, although it is also found in the US, Western Australia and Myanmar. Because of its coloring, it stimulates the first through third chakras.***
