A bright, Sleeping Beauty turquoise is set in an 18k gold bezel with a narrow, but heavy sterling silver band. There are delicate 18k gold balls on either side of the stone. This stone measures 9 x 9 mm at its widest points. With a narrower band than my usual style of rings, but still as solid, this ring has a slightly more delicate look. Perfect for those that don't love chunky rings.

***Sleeping Beauty turquoise comes from the Sleeping Beauty Mine near Globe, Arizona. It is known for its solid, bright blue color without much matrix. The mine was closed in the summer of 2012 until further notice, so this turquoise is becoming more expensive and difficult to find. Associated with the throat chakra, turquoise has long been considered a protective stone by many different cultures.***

Currently a size 6, I'll be happy to size this ring up or down to fit. :O)
