Sleeping Beauty Turquoise and Simulated Coral Bracelet in Sterling and 18k Gold
Sleeping Beauty Turquoise and Simulated Coral Bracelet in Sterling and 18k Gold
This is such a wonderful, wearable style of bracelet. I wear at least one, almost everyday, right next to my watch. :O)
This one is made from a solid, work hardened sterling wire and holds a pretty pear-shaped, Sleeping Beauty turquoise and a bright, simulated coral in heavy silver bezels. There is a solid 18k gold ball soldered next to each stone. The simplicity of this bracelet looks great on its own or stacked with other bracelets from your collection.
This particular bracelet is made for an average size wrist and is a bit adjustable. It measures 6.5-inches around plus a 1-inch opening.
***Sleeping Beauty turquoise comes from the Sleeping Beauty Mine near Globe, Arizona. It is known for its solid, bright blue color without much matrix. The mine was closed in the summer of 2012 until further notice, so this turquoise is becoming more expensive and difficult to find. Associated with the throat chakra, turquoise has long been considered a protective stone by many different cultures.***
***Red coral has been used decoratively and in jewelry for thousands of years. It symbolizes the life force and blood and circulatory system, and is believed to be a protective stone. It is associated with the root chakra.***
