A sparkly, rose cut amethyst is set in an 18k rose gold bezel, atop a solid sterling silver band. There is an 18k rose gold ball on either side of the stone with the remainder of the ring in sterling silver. This medium purple amethyst is cut into a pretty cushion shape and measures 10 x 14 mm. It sits horizontally on the finger and the facets flash as the light moves around the stone. So pretty!

Used to treat insomnia as well as headaches, the ancient Greeks believed amethyst could prevent intoxication and made drinking goblets from it.
