Peach-Pink Bi-Color Tourmaline Ring in 18k Gold and Sterling Silver
Peach-Pink Bi-Color Tourmaline Ring in 18k Gold and Sterling Silver
This is an unusual stone! It's a peachy-pink tourmaline in a nice BIG size. Cut into a loaf shape with a medium-high dome, it measures 13 x 16.5 mm. One half of the stone is fairly translucent and glows, while the other half has pinkish-white fibers running from the center of the stone through to the edge. There is a subtle, orangish-peach area running vertically through the center of the stone. Again, a very unusual stone. It is set in an 18k gold bezel, with the remainder of the ring in sterling silver. The wide sterling band complements the shape of the stone really well.
***Pink tourmaline is one of the heart chakra trinity stones, along with rose quartz and kunzite. Its presence is said to create joy and enthusiasm for life. Along with opal, pink tourmaline is one of the birthstones associated with the month of October.***
Currently a size 7, I'll be happy to size this ring up or down to fit. :O)
