An unusual, blue-gray moss aquamarine has been cut into a long oval and set in an 18k gold bezel, atop a comfortable, wide sterling silver band. It measures 10.5 x 15 mm and is set horizontally across the finger - my favorite orientation for an oval stone! Moss aquamarine has iron inclusions within the stone that give it an earthy, rustic look. This unique stone is full of these inclusions, all facing in the same direction. At the same time, it is a very translucent stone that really glows. So pretty in person!

***Aquamarine is a blue-green variety of beryl and the birthstone for March. Associated with the throat chakra, it is thought to ease communication problems as well as throat problems and is also said to provide the wearer with faithfulness, courage and friendship. ***

Currently a size 7, I'll be happy to size this ring up or down to fit. :O)
