Kingman Turquoise Ring in 18k Gold and Sterling Silver
Kingman Turquoise Ring in 18k Gold and Sterling Silver
A beautiful piece of turquoise from the Kingman Mine here in Arizona is cut into an oval that measures 13 x 18 mm. This is my favorite color of turquoise - a soft green-blue with a bit of light tan matrix! I think it looks especially nice with tan, khaki and olive - and of course white! Set in an 18k yellow gold bezel atop a wide sterling silver band, I've set it horizontally and think it would look good on any finger.
***Turquoise was one of the first gems to be mined. It gets its blue color from a combination of copper and aluminum. Turquoise is an alternate birthstone for December. Associated with the throat chakra, turquoise has long been considered a protective stone by many different cultures.***
Currently a size 8, I'll be happy to size it up or down to fit. :O)
Made with a stone from the Southwest in my studio in the desert. xo
