Lavender Chalcedony Pendant in 18k Gold and Sterling Silver
Lavender Chalcedony Pendant in 18k Gold and Sterling Silver
A beautiful, saturated, lavender chalcedony, cut into a long oval shape is set in an 18k gold bezel with a sterling silver back. The bail and small ball below the stone are 18k gold, as well. The pendant measures 1 1/8-inch from the top of the bail to the gold ball below the chalcedony. It hangs from an 18-inch subtly sparkling oxidized sterling chain. If you'd prefer a different length chain, please let me know. A pretty, delicate pendant in a fun color, it looks great worn alone or with other favorite necklaces. A great everyday pendant!
***Chalcedony is a microcrystalline quartz and occurs in just about every color. In jewelry, chalcedony usually refers to the purple-blue color of the stone, but chalcedony also includes agate, bloodstone, carnelian, chrysoprase, and two of my favorites: petrified dinosaur bone and petrified wood! Chalcedony has been used to promote emotional balance, especially with anger and anxieties.***
