A pair of 10 mm round, faceted tiger's eye stones are set in sterling silver for a nice sized pair of stud earrings. The posts and backs are sterling silver, as well. The backs are a larger size to help the earrings sit nicely on your ears. The gold and brown of these chatoyant stones move as the stones move and the facets sparkle.

***Tiger's eye has long been considered a protective stone by many cultures and is often carried as a protective amulet. It is also thought to bring mental clarity to the wearer and help release fear and anxiety. The largest deposit of tiger's eye is found in South Africa, although it is also found in the US, Western Australia and Myanmar. Because of its coloring, it stimulates the first through third chakras.***
