Carico Lake Turquoise Ring in 18k Gold and Sterling Silver
Carico Lake Turquoise Ring in 18k Gold and Sterling Silver
A small, long oval turquoise stone in the prettiest shade of robin's egg blue is set in an 18k gold bezel with a narrow, but heavy sterling silver band. There are delicate 18k gold balls on either side of the stone. This turquoise is from the Carico Lake Mine and measures 8 x 13 mm. With a narrower band than my usual style of rings, but still as solid, this ring has a slightly more delicate look. Perfect for those who don't love chunky rings.
***Turquoise was one of the first gems to be mined. It gets its blue color from a combination of copper and aluminum. It is an alternate birthstone for December. Associated with the throat chakra, turquoise has long been considered a protective stone by many different cultures. The Carico Lake Mine is located in Lander County, Nevada.***
Currently a size 7.5, I'll be happy to size this ring up or down to fit. :O)
